At Valmora , the selection of materials is paramount. Our jewelry combines timeless elegance with lasting quality – and the stones are an essential part of that.

Zirconia – brilliance like a diamond

We only use high-quality zirconia stones in the A5 and A3 quality grades. This classification describes the stones' clarity, cut, and brilliance.

A5 cubic zirconia is considered the highest quality. They are particularly clear, perfectly cut, and display a sparkle very similar to that of real diamonds.

A3 Zirconia are also characterized by high quality, but are cut somewhat less elaborately

The color

The whiter and clearer a stone's color, the more exceptional it is. The GIA grades color alphabetically from D to Z (D represents "very fine white" and Z represents "tinted"). The cubic zirconia stones used by Valmora are selected exclusively in color grade D, meaning they are colorless.

Hardness comparison – for long-lasting shine

The hardness of a stone is measured on the Mohs scale (1 = very soft, 10 = extremely hard).

Diamond: 10

Zirconia 5A: approx. 8.5

Crystal/glass: approx. 6–7

Thanks to this hardness, our zirconia stones are scratch-resistant, durable and retain their shine even with regular wear.
